<p>What has been the concensus on mentioning these in an application? Assuming they are more like "most likely to change the world" as opposed to "best hair," is that something positive? I know it could be conceived as merely a popularity contest (my class has 700 kids), but even if that's what it is - which I don't believe - having the respect of one's peers seems like it should carry some significance.</p>
