Senior year AP scores

would they affect me? if i dont pass my APs, would the admission people take back their offer? coz i heard we're supposed to send in both our junior year AP scores along with our Senior year AP scores right after we get them...

Failing won’t get you rescinded, but they can help you get out of some classes, so there is still a good reason to take they seriously.

ok thanks!

i failed all 6 i took -.- :|

Don’t matter

Heck, I would just save the $70 fee for each AP and not take it if you didn’t feel like it. That being said, I highly recommend you take AP english and AP Calc as those will actually get you out of an intro class or two.

Good thing I got the fee waiver. [:

Good luck…May is right around the corner! I took AP tests because it would save me time and money by not taking those Intro classes…yay.

Does it matter if you decided not to take the AP test for a class designated “AP”?

only if yoiur high school has a rule that they won’t give you a passing grade in the AP class unless you take the test. Otherwise, no. For Cal, all they are checking is that the courses you listed as your senior year load were indeed completed (and no failing grades). If you don’t take an AP test, then you can’t waive those classes at Cal - good for them. Might get an extra semester of tuition from you to take the classes that could have been skipped via AP.

The purpose of the AP exams to to get college credit. Some students can skip a year or more.
