I'm still able to decide which math class to take next year, but I don't know how. Which will help me more with admissions? I plan to major in Biochemistry (probably double major in humanities, like Anthropology). I'm applying to Rice, Caltech, Stanford, UCLA, Berkeley, MIT, Duke. Thanks in advance.

Definitely AP Calc. You are applying to schools like caltech and MIT after all. AP Stat is considered “soft” and really isn’t that difficult.

Definitely Calc BC.

Yeah, Calc

calc.
stat is such a joke.

my calc teacher used to be an engineer [ UPenn alumni] & she said that calc BC is calc AB + a bit more and that its much better to take ap stats [and since its easy, take calc 2 at the CC] rather than calc BC

AP Statistics is a joke. Lots of people at my school take Calc BC and self-study Statistics and still get 5’s on the APs

AP Calculus! Just take AB if you don’t think that you can handle BC [exactly what I’m doing] =D

yeah stats is a joke. Why not take calc at school, and since stats is apparently so easy, just self-study it?

AP Stat is barely even math, and like hiilikeyouz said, BC is barely more than AB so there’s no reason to take AB.

I already took Calc AB + exam last year anyways.

Go with BC, hands down.

BC for sure

Calc, of course.

Self-study whichever one you don’t take, especially since you’ve already taken AB.

stat, because its a joke. and interesting.
