Senior Year Course Load

Hello college confidential users. I have a question about my senior year course load. As a junior I took Honors Chem and Enriched Pre Calc. This year I wanted to take Regents physics and regular Calculus as well as an Intro to computer science class. However, due to scheduling issues, I ended up taking AP Stats instead of Calculus. I am aware that these classes are not of the same rigor and have come to realize that, not taking calculus might be a detriment to my application. I am able to take an AP Calculus class, but I would have to drop Advanced (not AP) Spanish or Symphonic Band, which I have been participating in throughout middle and high school. I am interested in doing something with computer science in college, but I have other interests as well, such as Japanese, Religion, and Agriculture. Can someone give me some advice? Should I drop Spanish to take Calculus, or does it not matter in the grand scheme of things? I am applying to very competitive colleges and want to do what I can to boost my chances of admission.

What level is advanced Spanish? Can you drop AP stats and replace it with Spanish, and still take calculus?

Unfortunately, no. Spanish, AP or regular, is not offered third, which is when AP Stats is

I would drop spanish for AP Calc if you have any STEM aspirations. Keep band…that is worth it for the socialization as well as music.

I agree with @bopper
