Ask. Most rigorous isn’t 'all the APs you can possibly taken and at most schools your schedule would qualify.
Can you take Multivariable calculus through dual enrollment at your local CC?
It’s not good to have a yearlong Gap in math for a stem major. MV would be better than stats. Discrete math is good too.
@myos1634 , my school seems reluctant to tell me. I asked them and they just said that my courseload is considered “rigorous” but didn’t specify beyond that. Also, since AP Government is only one semester, I am planning to take MV the other semester at my local CC.
^that schedule sounds good!
If you take MV at a CC, no need for HS math and AP stats. Enjoy the late start or free period
I need a 5th high school class anyway so I think I’ll take it since its an easy A. So I’m thinking AP Statistics, AP Physics C, AP Spanish Language, Economics one semester/ AP Government the other semester, European Literature + community college course one semester.
That looks very good
Okay, thank you everyone for your help!
@lovescookies
that schedule does NOT satisfy the A-G requirements! You need to take 4 YEARS of English. It looks like you are taking only 3.5 years of English classes.
European literature one semester + English at the cc? Or something else?
^I think he was planning on taking MV. I hope I’m wrong.
You’re right! So, the first semester English should be dual enrollment too in order to match the A-G requirements. Good catch!
sorry, that was poorly worded. One full year of college prep European Literature. In addition, I will likely take another community college course (probably MC) the semester I do not have AP Government (I get AP Gov one semester, regular econ the other, randomly assigned).
Ok, sounds good.
