do u have to keep a 3.0 WEIGHTED or UNWEIGHTED?

In my year it was weighted.

UC GPA 10 char

its weighted for SD. LA + Berkeley is unweighted.

So in order to get an admissino offer rescinded by UCSD, you need to have earned below a 3.0 WEIGHTED GPA??

How is that possible? For most honors classes they don’t give you the extra weightage unless you get an A or a B, which would put you at at least a 3.0 UNweighted GPA. Unless it is something like getting an A in a weighted course, but then getting a couple Cs…???

haha sorry, I am confused

I think you actually have to consciously decide to get below a 3.0 weighted GPA.

^ rofl. that’s very true. thanks for the simple answer

Ah, but one D in a required A-G course could bring about a rescindment of admission – irrespective of weighted + 3.0 GPA.

^yeah be careful of that. A few exceptions I could think of are when a few friends got D’s in AP Chemistry + AP Physics. Some of the UC’s allowed them to retake a community college course in those subjects over the summer after MUCH petitioning.
