i applied EDII and my first semester doesn't end till the last week of january, waaay past the deadline. does this mean nyu won't see my second quarter grades and use them for my decision? or will they only see my first quarter grades for my decision? when i last saw my transcript, it only had up to junior year completed and only senior year classes listed.

They also require a midyear report. [Application Checklist](<a href=“How to Apply”>How to Apply)

Ha ha, I’m screwed. I have a B- in Literature.

But it says that midyear reports are due by march 1st so you don’t have to send it in before then if your grades aren’t up to par. Right?

But…ED II applicants are notified about NYU’s admissions decisions on 2/15.

Yeah I’m aware of that but they said all applicants’ midyears are due 3/1…so yeah i don’t know :(

to be honest a b- isn’t the end of the world. I had a couple on my transcript and was still accepted ed1

@aarcot - did you have outstanding extracirriculars? Were you accepted this year or last?

I had 2 B-'s freshman year and was accepted ED1 this year, by the way. As long as your other grades are good (A/A-/B+) and your test scores are good just one B- may be overlooked.

I know it says it on the application checklist, but are mid-year reports absolutely required???

D was accepted ED1 and the admittance letter asks for mid-year grades even for accepted students. So yes, I would say they want them. This is a change in policy for NYU. Older D appled regular decision and was never asked for mid-year grades. As a matter of fact, they said NOT to send them at all unless they were requested.
