Senior daughter is taking a medical internship her senior year at a local hospital through our highschool. We have 5 different "career internships" that honors students may apply to. She will do 50 rotations throughout the hospital. Her courses are embedded in the program so she will get honors credit for english, government, and a few other courses. The program is 3 hours/day everyday. Upon her return to school each day, she also is planning on taking AP Calculus & 5th year french, plus a lunch period:).

She actually changed her sched. to add the ap calc today. I talked to one admissions counselor who wasn't too crazy about the program. She felt students should be in the class talking the hardest APs they can. My daughter wants to be pre-med and has taken most of the AP classes she is interest in.

I thought the program sounded fantastic, but now I am confused! Thanks for any input or advice on how to "spin" this to admissions officers.
