Senior Year of HS Classes--sufficient??

Hi, I have recently signed up for my classes for senior year and I still have an opportunity to edit them, so I figured that if someone here is versed in college admissions, then they could let me know if it is sufficient enough for pseudo-Ivies.

AP American Government
AP Calculus II
AP Physics
AP Statistics
Honors Humanities: World Literature and Theatre
Senior Thesis (for school’s scholars program; 40-page thesis and presentation)
required religion course (I go to a Catholic school)

Your schedule seems rigorous, but I noticed you have two maths and no foreign language. Those competitive colleges like to see four+ years of foreign language, so maybe you could add that. Otherwise it seems good.

As they say, take the most rigorous things your school has to offer; you’ll probably end up being judged by how well you utilized your learning opportunities.

Your selection makes it look like you want to be an engineer or something in that ballpark. If that is the case, definitely keep your little STEM cluster going. Otherwise, maybe consider switching one of those (esp. math, as perviously mentioned) out for something that is directly relating to your interest.

ddeebaa noted foreign language; you obviously did not include enough information for me to specify what you should do about it, but I will say that you should look at some of your potential college choices (hopefully realistic ones) and see what their requirements are. Most require 3 years, some 4, and maybe an AP as a substitute for that. Just check it out and switch accordingly.

What level have you previously completed in foreign language? If level 4 or higher (e.g. AP level), then you should be fine for admissions; if not, see if your colleges of interest prefer to see more. Note that colleges may have foreign language graduation requirements, so the higher the level you complete in high school, the greater the chance you will be able to reduce the number of courses needed to meet such a requirement.

Also, is your Honors Humanities course generally regarded as a 12th-grade-level English course?
