Senior Year Schedule Change

Hi guys I’m getting a bit worried. So I initially planned to take 2 Dual Enrollment classes over the course of senior year. English 101 my first semester, English 102 my second semester. I took English 101 and got an A. However, for some reason, English 102 is not being offered to Dual Enrollment students this year. So I decided to just not take another DE class second semester, as I was already feeling really stressed out in my first semester (my first semester, in total, I was taking 8 classes, 3 of them being AP)… Will this put my acceptances/future acceptances in jeopardy?
I’ve already been accepted into:
University of Illinois-Chicago
Spelman College
Soka University of America
Temple University
Rockford University
Illinois State University
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign (got my decision today! Yay)

Schools I applied to and awaiting decisions:
University of Chicago
Yale University
Stanford University
Princeton University
Northwestern University
Howard University
Syracuse University

Not unless you put English 102 as a class on your application.

I did and that’s why I’m worried. I listed it as a class I would take in my second semester

@CaliCash

Talk to your guidance counselor. I believe you need to notify all schools you have been accepted to and all schools you have applied to of the change. Best to do it now because you don’t want a schools to first find out when they get your final transcript and it doesn’t have the class you said you were going to take on it. It may not go down well with the super-competitive schools if you don’t replace the DE course with an English course of similar rigor.

@happy1 Well there were no other DE English classes left except English 101 (which I already took). And I’m already taking AP English Lit (yeah, I was taking DE English and AP English at the same time during the first semester).
