Hi everyone,
Just wanted opinions on the rigor/relevancy of my senior year schedule (currently a junior). I feel like it is less rigorous than previous years and it also focuses less on STEM (I want to major in EE). I do want to have enough time for college apps though- how time-consuming are they?
Soph:
Hon Precalc <-> AP Calc AB
Hon Span <-> AP Span
AP Comp Sci <-> Data Structures
English 3-4 - World History
Junior:
Student Gov - AP Calc BC
AP Phys C: Mech <-> AP Phys C: E+M
APUSH <-> Hon Am Lit (weighted)
Off Roll - Off Roll
Senior:
APEL - Drama 3-4
Hon Civ/Econ <-> AP Gov
Hon Chem <-> AP Chem
[Add AP Psych?] - Off Roll (Auto Tech some evenings, Multivar Calc other evenings)
Although this year I’ve struggled for time occasionally, I’ve maintained straight A’s throughout high school. Anyways, I planned on taking Multi in the spring but it’s also possible to do Multi in the fall and Linear in the spring. So let me know what you guys think about adding AP Psych and the college math classes. Also, is it weird that suddenly my classes have much less focus on STEM? Thanks!
