Senior year schedule?

I’m scheduling classes for my senior year and I have a few conflicts. These are the classes I’m planning on taking for sure:

Anatomy & physiology
physics 1
AP literature
AP psychology

First of all, for my math class, I don’t know whether I should take AP calculus (AB) or AP computer science. I doubled up in math this year with both precalc and AP stats. I know some calculus is necessary for the medical field (I want to be a doctor) and that getting some exposure to calc in high school is good. But I also know that with current technology having some exposure to coding is important too. Which should I take?

Second, I have been taking french every year of high school so far. I actually started learning french in canada (since 5th grade). I should have taken french 2 freshman year because i had that background but they had no space so they put me in french 1 again. anyway, i want to take french 4 next year, but i have some required classes i still have to take - econ, gov & civics, and world history 2. I think I’m going to try and test out of gov & civics, but my question is, is it worth it to take econ and history in the summer so i can still take french, or is three years enough?

Background:
current GPA 4.13 weighted 4.0 unweighted
SAT 1470 but I will take it again
I want to be a doctor like I said.
Trying to get into Umich or UChicago.

Thank you so much for reading all this and answering!

French 4 is definitely better than French 3.
AP calculus is important for a pre-med (calculus will be required). In addition, many colleges don’t consider cs as a math class and consider it a science elective.

I agree…you have to take Calc as a premed and it is way better to be exposed to it in HS.
You don’t have to take A&P to be premed…drop that if you cannot fit in econ, gov & civics, and world history 2.
Colleges like to see you get to level 4 of a foreign language, but if you have to fit in your core classes ya gotta do it.
