Seniors: College Mail

So obviously everyone is getting a crapload of stuff in the mail from colleges.

Today, I finally got something from a college I'm actually interested in/ am applying to.
All the other letters I've gotten have been from crap schools.

Is it a good think that I got this letter from this good college? Or is it just random/ they found my name somewhere? I didn't contact them for info or anything..

Just curious. Thanks.

college mail doesnt mean ****.

I’m not a senior, but I’ve already got lots of meaningless junk. I’m saving it up for a bonfire after graduation.

it doesn’t mean anything special.

/thread

probably from PSAT scores, if you checked that box… it just means you have a decent enough score on that they think you might be interested in their school.

Sometimes there’s relevant information that you might be interested in, such as important dates or reminders (and sometimes applications themselves).

I kept viewbooks from colleges I was interested in too.

I wish I had been saving college mail in a box since my very first piece. Seriously, it would have consumed my house by now. I usually get 3-6 pieces a day. It was a lot of letters, but lately it’s been a lot of huge packages with paper applications.

Lol, my local college called me asking me if I want to go to the open house… I had to tell her that I wasn’t applying there. It was awkward haha.

I’m pretty sure I only checked yes to the box in ninth grade, and am still getting letters from that, plus the individuals schools I’ve given info to.

I’ve gotten a whole bunch of stuff from schools I’ve never heard of and/or am not interested in, but I’ve also gotten some stuff from seven of the schools I’m applying to.

Of course it doesn’t mean anything.
