Hey seniors! :) Who's going to Grad Bash or Grad Nite?
Any thoughts? What do you guys think about the dress code?

grad nite here

We have one, but its about a week after graduation. I really would have gone if we would have gotten more notice. Bu my friends and I are going on a cruise, so its all good.

eh disney and universal do not sound too appealing with thousands of highschool students packed in one night lol. we shall see.

grad bash.

i don't really have a problem w/ the dress code

my school has a "senior all-night party" at the school the night of graduation...most people go, and it's fun, from what i hear.

grad nite in the school gym here o.o

We have what is called Project Graduation, an all night party about 2 hours after our graduation ceremony.

grad nite/bash and project graduation are two seperate things.

grad nite/bash is a party as disney/universal in ~april where Sr's from all over go to.

project graduation is after graduation so everyone doesn't go drinking...

Uhhhh... hmmm. Our grad night is some all-night event the seniors' parents plan and keep secret from all the seniors. Right after commencement they pack all the graduates who've signed up for grad night onto a charter bus and they ship 'em off somewhere--usually Seattle to some big recreation complex place with laser tag, karaoke, magic acts, etc.

I did not sign up. I don't like staying up all night; I don't like any of the types of things I've heard they do; and I'm not friends with most of my class. I'll probably spend grad night in bed. Alone. Sober. I might have a get-together with my close friends or family between the ceremony and bedtime, though. Who knows. My mom wants me to.

My school does offer a four-day trip at the end of April to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland for a maximum of 20 seniors. You have to apply for it, with an essay, then teachers choose the 20 seniors who applied and who they think would be best for the trip. I'm going on that. :D (I'm a theatre kid. :D:D)

grad nite at disney world in orlando....lasts from 8pm to 4 am

Same here.

Grad nite is at Disnelyand for us... since a lot of local high schools are going too, we've been told not to wear or mention anything with our school's name (a lot of elitist stereotypes about our school).

Mine will be at Disneyland in June.

I didn't know Project Graduation existed until now, haha...

Anniushka: The Oregon Shakespeare Festival sounds so exciting! Have fun there! :)

diehldun: The seniors, including me, at my school have been told not to wear anything that shows our schools' name too. Kinda odd... We are also told that we cannot wear jeans, bring back packs, etc. There's a list, I don't have it with me now.

deadgiveaway: in June? The seniors are going to Disneyland together as a school trip or is it self-planned? I am curious :D

lol ya...grad nite is at universal, rite after my prom (april 21st). grad bash is at disney (fraye is goin to be playing). i live in orlando.....soo kinda pointless goin when it's gonna packed with so many teens. :(

my school's going to grad bash this saturday

My school is too. I wish I had signed up to go. I was worried that no one was going (which there still is barely anyone going) and I have a swim meet this weekend too. I guess I'll be able to focus on my meet then.

we haev a huge party after grad, it goes on all night , teachers parents and students go. Its awesome, everyone gets drunk ( or not if they're not into that stuff) and have a great time....then its off to cancun to party

Yeah...we have Disneyland and all that, but I'm not going.

After graduation, the parents do a grad party all night. Apparently it's fun, and it's not like I'd be doing anything else, so I'm going to that.

And Anniushka, I've been to the Shakespeare Festival and it's AMAZING! I loved it so much. I'm dying to go back, but I don't think I'll get another chance. Anyway, it's fantastic.
