After college applications and my mid-year report have been sent, I don't know what to do to keep myself motivated until the end of the year...
I get home at 7ish, shower, eat dinner, and it's already 9ish. I have to wake up at 5, so I just go right to bed.

I don't do homework or study anymore because the grades won't count. When I oversleep in the morning, I don't even rush, I just think 'whatever, I'm late already' and take my time getting ready and going to school.

Last year, homework was the first thing I did when I got home and I even woke up an hour earlier to study and review for upcoming tests.
How did I catch senioritis this badly?!?!

What's the cure? Any home remedies that worked for you?

There is no cure. Senioritis is not overcome; you just need to keep it from eating you alive.

I’ve caught senioritis bad - really bad. Anyway; I found that going to school early in the morning helps - I’m a lot more motivated to do work in the hour or two before homeroom than I am when I get home from school. I also prioritize assignments on importance and when they’re going to be checked - for instance, AP Literature assignments are put on the back burner because my teacher doesn’t check them until 2+ weeks after the due date, whereas AP Gov work is always checked the next day, so Gov comes first. It seems to help - it is half way through the quarter and I have all A’s/A+'s, just like I did before I became an apathy-monster, so I think things are working out well.

Finding other things to keep me busy helps keep me engaged in subjects I have stopped caring about (I’ll admit I only really care about calc at this point). For example, I started reading the classics and have actually been really enjoying it. That doesn’t specifically help me in any class but it keeps me busy so I don’t just sit around and ooze motivation out of my pores. Good luck!

I’ve been laying in bed since 9 contemplating whether I should work or sleep. It’s almost ten. Wow, I need help.
