I'm really excited about (hopefully) getting out of the northeast, and meeting people from all over..and a new variety of guys bc my hs doesn't have the greatest prospects lol what about you guys?

Guys. Freedom. Classes. People. Parties. Activities. Work. Friendships. Road trips.

I love the north east… ;(

I’m a junior, but I’m mostly looking forward to leaving Ohio. Unless I go to college in Ohio. Meh.

Hopefully, you’ll learn to read by then.

She obviously knew the thread was for seniors, hence why she indicated she was a junior. Common sense people, not hard at all.

How hard is it to tell a joke up in here?

Ahhhh looking forward to a new adventure, that’s pretty much it in a nutshell. Gonna ball hard for these next four years, and the years after that.

Lookin’ forward to it all, whatever college I get accepted to.

@Niquii77 that really didn’t seem like a joke
it certainly wasn’t amusing in the slightest, except maybe to you
it just sounded like you were initially being unreasonably malicious then you decided to back off when someone confronted you

Leaving Florida and the south in general. (I love the northeast. Honestly, it’s the only place I want to go for college.) I want to meet new people and guys. (People up north are so much friendlier, IMO.)

Hmm…how do I say this? I’m not being unreasonably malicious. Umm…you don’t know how I act…? You don’t have the slightest clue of what went on?

Honestly, it was a sarcastic comment. You’re new to CC so I understand that you don’t know I’m sarcastic.

I love Florda, but I’d have to agree with 1Rachel94. I can’t wait to leave and meet new people, see new places and just have fun.

@Rachel and @Panda You guys are lucky that you guys can leave! I have Florida PrePaid so it just woulnt make sense not to stay in state when my tuition and dorm are paid for. I’m just going to try to skip off to a different part of Florida.

Only one semester of English, hopefully. Then, no more English classes EVER. Huzzah!
Also, in general, most of my classes will be on subjects I like. Right now I have about four (of seven) in subjects I like, and two of those move painfully slow.

I actually laughed really loudly at Niquii77’s post. It was most definitely a joke.

@supersmartguy1: I wouldn’t say her post was “malicious;” she didn’t threaten her or actually make an offensive comment. And lol, she didn’t back off…it was a joke.

Also, I found it pretty amusing, and not “unreasonable” at all.

Guys. Freedom. New people. Intelligent people. Skiing. =) and no one has any preconceptions about who I am. Everyone will be smart and nerdy in their own way, not just me.

Sooo ready. Only about 9 more months!

^Your post reminded me, considering I have a girlfriend, the whole “slutty girls” dynamic in college doesn’t go in my favor. XD
Not saying you are one, if that’s what you got out of it. =P

Now to answer the actual question:

Learning without being bound by tests and curricula. Having peers who are just as intellectually inclined as me. A blank slate. Path to success. Learning about stuff I actually care about. Less temperamental women (though I guess that doesn’t change anywhere).

Now THAT made me laugh out loud.

Haha @FastNeutrino I just mean a different group of people. I’ve been friends with the same guys since 2nd grade, and I guess I’m kinda picky when it comes to dating. XD
