Hey seniors. It has been 4 years and high school is almost over what are your biggest regrets? Personally, I regret not having going out of my comfort zone and meeting new people. I just wished I tried to be a little more social. It would have made high school a lot easier.

Not much…i mean, im a social eagle lol, but it’ll probably be better grades.

I don’t regret much, i don’t see a reason to. There are ample opportunities out there and it’s all going to come around soon enough.

High School is just a phase (a really cool one) :D

Eh, not taking multivariable calc this summer. Looked cool.

I have plenty of regrets academically and socially. There’s too much to list out. I plan to reinvent myself during college.

^Like Madonna? What will your reinvention be?

I don’t really have any regrets, but I do wish I was less lazy throughout these past 4 years. My laziness resulted in my GPA being much lower than it should be and what I am capable of. I wish I tried more to immerse myself in the material and genuinely enjoy learning, but I just couldn’t. Still can’t. :/

Also, it really sucks now that I realize I’m missing out on so much merit aid because of my sub-par GPA.

i wish that, given the choice, i could have stayed in New York, where i would have gotten a better and more thorough education than moving to florida. but then again i was only eight when i moved and i didnt know what i know now

As Edith Piaf would say, je ne regrette rien.

not trying in school or challenging myself too much… still going to a good college though

stopping basketball

almost getting into a few fights and getting into two of them.

Being an ******* freshman year

Not asking out a girl last year

probably a lot more but that’s just off the top of my head.

@Millancad - I was going to post that too… haha!

-taking physics. ewwwwww.
-not enrolling full-time at madison this year through youth options
-various embarrassing things i did freshman year
-not having courage to ask boy i really liked out last year.

-Fing up in my freshmen and sophomore year.
-Little outgoing socially and couldn’t care about school events like everyone else did.
-Academically underachived on GPA and SAT score (could’ve done better with 100% effort of practice).
-Procrastinating my homework assignments and waking up the next morning and feel like tired and s afterwards.
-Getting blocked on facebook in the first place.
-Afraid to take leadership and traveling/internship position and didn’t realize how important getting into a good college is earlier in the HS years.
-Heard ACT too late in my Junior year after I’ve been prepping with the SAT for years because I would’ve done both to see which one better suits me.
-Getting into parental and guidance trouble with 5 of my friends from middle school who I got close with. Now can’t speak to them until they speak to me in College.
-Made new friends to my life in HS, but could’ve chose more wisely since one of them (a girl) don’t even consider me important anymore. Yet, I had met a guy through these friends last Summer and he ended up rudely ending a friendship with me (ah I don’t care anymore).
- Dropped Physics Honors in Junior year to take Earth Sci instead just because I thought I wouldn’t be able to handle a challenging Sci course, but have now just realized that I’m not so bad at Mathematics after all.
- Lost my calculator and gym uniform couple of times, and my umbrellas on raining days (all of these just because I was irresponsible, but now I am starting to care more for myself).

Not being more involved with school activities. I’ve spent a lot of time with drama lab this year and I really really regret not doing it the previous three years as I’ve gotten to know a lot of really cool people

Only two stand out to me…
Introducing someone i was in a 2-year relationship with to a “friend” of mine. I got cheated on =/

^ That one led to me hanging out with the wrong people and doing reckless things which got me arrested sophomore year.

but its okay, i got into UCSD yesterday so everything turned out all right in the end :]

not studying for the SAT. >_> i didn’t do terrible on it though, so it’s not the end of the world

No complaints about 11th and 12th, I’m doing exactly what I feel I should be doing. 10th grade was a black hole for me, social life went down, grades went down, lots went down. 9th grade couldn’t have been different since I was new to the area and public system, so it was a major adjustment period.

Being in high school was my biggest regret throughout high school.

^ I guess I’m not alone.

And prom’s coming up… there’s more rejections in the way other than colleges. You know what I’m talking about… =/

As much as possible, I try not to “do” regrets. If anything, I know I should regret not working to my fullest potential, but tbh, it doesn’t upset or bother me at all.

Oh, here’s one. I wish I took my mandatory college class seriously and not have gotten a C. That’s pretty much it. Overall I’m satisfied with how high school went down. It didn’t go as I or my parents had planned, but that’s nothing to beat myself up over.

EDIT://
Eww… Prom. I hope i don’t have to resort to taking the cousin/ family friend. And last year I lost a pair of really good, faithful running shoes at school.
