As second semester moves into full swing, all those senior activities we've been hearing about for four years are fast approaching! What are you looking forward to the most?

I'll start. Since my HS is so large (~4,000 kids), a few years ago they brought Small Learning Communities into play. Mine is called the PEACE (Personal success through Empowerment, Academic achievement, Conflict resolution and Ethics in action) Academy. Each year, they hold a banquet exclusively for the seniors and their families. I cannot WAIT...these kids have become my family. We take all of our core classes together, and we've gotten incredibly close in these four years. Not to mention the fact that as a tradition, the seniors make up "funny awards" for the teachers as well. That'll be TOO FUN.

The All-Night Party. Apparently, the theme this year is Legends of the Hidden Temple. Listening to the Assistant Principal trying to explain Olmec will be hilarious.

My school doesn't really have any great activities, to be honest. We have our senior prom and after party, but even those are kind of ghetto; the latter is usually held in the parking lot/gym, and my class has barely raised any money for the former.

supersenior17...just booked my house for beach week :)

With that being said...BEACH WEEK '08!! Fun under the sun with awesome friends...a week long party, there is nothing better!!

Also looking forward to our Senior Awards Ceremony, Senior Picnic, GRADUATION, Scholarship Night, PROM, PROM, and PROM. Except currently lacking a date and potential prospects ughh they are all TAKEN. Also Seniors who have A's in their classes do not take the exams...so second spring break for me!

Prom

Graduation

Vacation with my family... somewhere

The 1/2 month of school after AP exams are over where I can do nothing because I can exempt all of my exams (b/c of good grades or taking the AP exam or few absenses)... I can do all the things in HS that I didn't get to do before

Project Graduation right after Graduation... all-night partayyy!!!

Problem: No date for prom yet, don't have enough money to buy a prom dress (at least $50?)

Graduation!!!!

After AP Test slack off time
3.Prom, but my boyfriend might not be here for that. Oh well, I'll go stag.

Senior Superlatives in the yearbook

Hmm...Summer, of course!

Oh and getting my acceptance letters! (crossed fingers)

Well, "not being in high school anymore" is probably something for which every senior is counting down the hours. "Not being a senior," per se. would be less frequently said, because being freshmen again--even at college--will mean that we are yet again the small fish in a big pond, which is not the best position to be in.

for senior project, my friend is going to bake his car up and people will pay to sit in it for a couple of minutes and they will walk out stoned. i dunno i told him that people will probably pass out from a lack of oxygen but he is pretty dumb, lol

Hmm.. Seems like we don't have anything cool for senior year. We don't do senior prom (we have senior bash in the cafe during school one day), only about 30 people showed up on senior ditch day because it rained, and we don't have any beach week, etc. I'm looking forward to graduating!

I found out a little bit more about our senior activities at our student government meeting yesterday, though our class vice president was messing with our heads. He was joking that the theme of the prom was going to be "animatronic forest".

Basically, we're having a senior trip, but we don't know where to. We're having a prom, but we don't know the theme. So I am looking forward to those. Also, senior awards night, senior breakfast, and other things. Should be fun.
