Sent Mid Year Grades Feb 6th - still waiting on decision. Anyone else?

We have sent in our mid term grades on Feb 6th and still waiting on a decision. Is anyone in the same boat ? I am almost losing hope being a rolling admissions school the chances of getting positive news here.
I had called admissions last monday and they said still with admissions committee and should hear soon.

@hailtopitt1787 any suggestions ? appreciate your help

My D was just put in waitlist for Fall on Monday. She submitted mid-grades on Feb 11. She opted to stay on the list so she was guaranteed Spring 2020 admittance.

Hi @Hope2019,

It is a busy time for our Admissions Committee and it could currently take 4-8 weeks to hear back after submitting the mid-year grades. I’m sorry, I know it’s a stressful time but you should be hearing from us soon!

Good luck!

Thanks @RedRoxy2000 & @hailtopitt1787 .
@RedRoxy2000 - may I ask what were your D stats ? My daughter is nervous she is probably going to get rejected or waitlist.

1310 SAT and 3.9 GPA, but had 4.2 for first 2 marking periods in senior year.

@Hope2019 , My D numbers are right on par with the numbers on Pitts website. She was accepted to Penn State, Temple, and Univ. of South Carolina for the Fall 2019, but Pitt was her top choice and she really thought it would a safe school. I am guessing that this year was more competitive then last? She is hoping to be admitted from the waitlist.

I called in today and was told still under review should hear something very shortly . Considering that its rolling admissions I am losing hope on anything positive to come back at this time :frowning: @hailtopitt1787 do they actual accept folks this late in the game or its waitlisted, denial or spring options that they offer ?

@Hope2019 the Admissions Committee definitely still admits students at this time. They may just be looking at your application a little bit harder to find the best fit for you. Stay positive!
