So I took the ACTs and scored a 34. So I want to submit the ACT score instead of the SAT score which was 1960 and a 2100. I was stupid enough to send my first SAT score to take advantage of the free report instead of waiting to see my better scores. Since I sent them to 3 of the colleges that I'm applying to, I have to submit the second score so that it does not seem that bad. (btw, I am sending my ACT score to the 3 colleges). Since I submitted the SAT I scores for the three colleges already, should I submit my SAT II scores as well? I scored 720 in Math 2 and 730 in Biology (M). Or should I just send my second SAT I score and leave it at that?

The SAT II scores will help. Do the schools require subject tests?

Don’t worry, your much better ACT score would trump the SAT score submitted. I don’t think that is stupid at all to submit your first SAT attempt. The most important thing is you did get a much better score later on and you did not take the test many times to achieve that. There are thousands of reasons one may get a low score, but there is only one reason to get a good score. You should not worry about it at all.
Check for the SAT2 requirement. Only a dozen or so schools require SAT2 when you submit ACT score with writing. Unless you are applying to some super competitive schools like Stanford that you want to try everything to increase your chance. (Indeed, 95% of students admitted by Stanford did submit SAT2 although it was just recommended), you may focus on other things for your application. Since you have the SAT2 scores already and they are decent, it would not hurt to send them in also. The cost is the same anyway for SAT1 alone or all SAT scores.
