Sent Tax Return late?

<p>So…I wasn’t aware that I’m supposed to send a copy of 2011 Tax Return by March 1st. I sent mine in on 3/12. I did FAFSA and CSS Profile by the deadline though. </p>

<p>Would this be a problem???</p>

<p>Not for admissions. Financial aid and admissions are separate.</p>

<p>Call financial aid and make sure they received everything they needed if you are concerned. But it was our experience that they will let you know if you are missing anything in your application.</p>

<p>I just realized that there is a financial aid portal…It said that they’re missing some w2’s, but that they have everything else. I hope this isnt a problem…I’ll call tomorrow.</p>

<p>@NYmomLI - I didn’t realize there was a financial aid portal until a week ago… I was missing some major documents until until that point. Like for some reason, Barnard FA didn’t receive my CSS profile and I sent it in December :frowning: Luckily, the nice woman I spoke to reassured that it won’t affect my FA package in any way.</p>

<p>It’s a kind of hidden link that is not well advertised. You can access it by going to the Barnard FA portion of the website and on the right hand side under Helpful Tools is the tracker. Hope this helps!</p>
