<p>I think corporate finance is the hardest to break in to, so yes, it would be hardier to ace that interview just because everyone is so well prepared.</p>

<p>heh... just keep in mind that asset management is becoming further and further away from ibanking... citi traded its a.m. branch, merril's merged with blackrock...i think BoA got sold its am branch as well. it may be more difficult to get into ibanking through asset management in the future, although i have no idea...</p>

<p>for those dying of anxiety and for all seo ethusiasts, their adcoms started making intern decisions today...I think some people might hear back by the
10th</p>
<p>people have heard back as early as december! apparently 4 people were already accepted from the vault message boards, although they applied really early</p>

<p>they haven't gotten my transcript from my college yet so they sent an e-mail saying they met today and will like to have it asap...didn't realise it was a rolling process..the adcoms have probably met two-three times prior to this then...</p>

<p>Yeah, they're already making calls. I got my offer call for IB on Jan 3rd, and my friend who's doing IT got called yesterday.</p>

<p>Last week, SEO called up three of my friends (who completed the second round interview) and asked a few questions (i.e. why you are applying to SEO, are you applying to any IBs, etc). They also said everyone should get their decision on January 23rd.</p>
<p>Well, my buddy and I did not get that phone call unfortunately... <em>sigh</em></p>
