Sept 2012 ACT Curve Predictions?

Ok, lots of feedback on the Sept 2012 ACT now. CCers please predict curves here.

English?
Math?
Reading?
Science?

I won’t give any specific numbers, but for me, Reading was much easier than last time, science was much harder, english was about the same (maybe a tad easier?), and math was a tiny bit harder than the June date imo

Here’s what i think the science curve will be
39-40-> 36
37-38 -> 35
36 -> 34
35 -> 33
34 -> 31
33-> 29
or something like that

^science curve might be little bit worse because for those who had taken AP Bio last part seems piece of cake…

thats true but i found the syringe and the guitar ones to be particularly challenging as well. ive taken AP Biology, AP Chemistry and AP Physics C, and plenty of ACT science tests and i found this test to be one of the more challenging ones. looking at past science curves in my red book this doesn’t seem so far out.

curve is predetermined so don’t waste ur brain power guessing it haha

Adezar, I must agree. I’ve taken ACT classes over past summer, taken AP Chem, Bio, and currently taking Physcis. On the practice ACT exams (science, particularly), I usually scored a 32-34 on average, but this time I am not so sure. I also found the syringe and guitar ones to be difficult as well. Long story short, I was cursing out the person who made this exam and had to Christmas tree the last part (DNA) lol :/

it says on the ACT website that the curves are predetermined regardless of the date or location you take the tests. This seems completely unfair! This test seemed to be one of the HARDEST I’ve taken. None of the practice tests were this bad! Math and English were okay but Science and Reading were killer! I dont know how the curves are gonna work!
