Right now, I'm deciding whether or not to take the ACT again in Sept. My biggest problem is the math section and I'm not sure if I can study everything (Math is my weakest subject) in time for Sept. Basically, would it be wise to go for Sept. or just wait until Oct.? The thing is my nearest test center is kind of far away. I guess I'd rather go into Sept. prepared than not prepared as much as I should be. October would give me some leeway, but be my last chance to take the test before I submit applications.

Why not take both?

I’d consider taking both, but I think it would be a waste of my time in a sense if I barely prepare for one test date as oppose to the other. Plus, the Sept. test center is kind of far and I’m a little hesitant to drive there. Lastly, would it be weird to take the ACT 4 times?

EDIT: Would the Dec. test date be too late if I’m applying RD?

^No, not really. The college will never know, but if you aren’t improving, you’re wasting time.

“The college will never know”

Some of the really good colleges (Yale, Stanford, Brown) have started rejecting ACT score choice just recently, so…
