Does anyone remember a whole column without A or F???
@TheWaffleMan149 I did the same on the infinite series question and the polynomial equality question.
I own 10 of their albums on CD. Darkside, WYWH, Animals, Piper, and Saucerful are the ones I always come back to.
So today’s test made me a little happy and a little angry.
This was my fourth time taking the ACT. I have taken the ACT each year of my high school career, and today’s test was the last one I will take no matter what.
I have gotten a 25, then a 30, then a 32, and today I was hoping to get somewhere between a 33 (minimum) to 35 (which would be the best thing ever).
The english, math, and science parts were really easy for me. I always have done really well on the English. I usually run out of time on the science and reading, but today I finished both sections with about 5 minutes to spare. YAAAAAY!!! you don’t even know how happy I am about this.
But that math section though…
Last time, I got a 35 on the math. Last time, I finished the math section with like 15 minutes to spare. This was the hardest math ACT, practice or real, that I have ever seen in my life. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO GIVE THIS TO ME TODAY???
There were only about 5 questions that I was unsure about, but when you are aiming for a 34/35, 5 questions is a lot. This especially disappoints me since Math is my best flipping subject both on the ACT and in school.
Can’t wait to get my scores…
@Hermit9 Do you mean the abc one?
I’ve got over 100 of their songs on my phone
I’ve got a problem
And Animals is my favorite, closely followed by meddle
@tina23 yes I had one.
English: Not difficult. Finished with 5 minutes left to look over my answers.
Math: Quite difficult especially near the end. The last 5-7 questions were ridiculous.
Reading: Pretty nice, guessed on only 2 questions.
Science: Finished on time and answered every single question without guessing so yay lol.
Essay: Quite nice and had 5 minutes to review my essay.
Hoping for 30+
English - Much easier than usual (32-34)
Math - Much easier than usual (33-35)
Reading - I am naturally bad at reading and I thought that this reading test was hard as I did a poor mistake pacing myself.
Science - Easy (29-31)
What do you guys think about the curve in reading?
@acetonitrile I took the June sat. I’m taking it again in October for the last time.
do we get our multiple choice scores with writing, or separately? would it take longer to get the multiple choice scores if you took the writing section?
I believe the reading wasn’t too difficult but I think the curve will be a little more generous than usual.
@smoothrun98 I think I was exactly the same as you.
@smoothrun98 Okay thanks. I really hope so.
@TheWaffleMan149 Yes, that was the one! It was the only one I had to go back to.
Dude, I didn’t think anyone else appreciated Meddle other than music critics. Echoes is my all-time favourite song!
The rest of the album is hit-or-miss though.
English: Pretty easy, except a couple more questions about using semicolons than regular.
Math: Medium to Hard. A couple pretty tricky problems, noticeably out of the last 5 (the last one OMG wtf!)
Reading: Not too bad, rushed but not randomly bubbling.
Science: Trickier than usual, but not too bad.
Writing: Eh, who cares?
Did anyone find the math extremely difficult? I thought that the reading, english & science were much much easier than any practice test I’ve taken (finished reading and english with 10/15 mins to spare, science with 5) but math…I ran out of time and had to start bubbling randomly towards the end. What will the math curve be like? Guesses?
@CEOSandeep It will probably be slightly more generous than usual since it started with the double passage.
@tina23 I didn’t have any like that. Which form did u have? This is amping my anxiety… grrrrr
for Seniors, when is the last time to take ACT for colleges?
@isabelly212 I would hope it’s generous. I agree, it was fairly difficult compared to many tests I have taken before.
@isabelly212 imo the last few questions on the math section were pretty hard, compared to prep books/official practice tests
