Seriously need help with Cornell's College of Human Ecology Supplement!!!!!

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>Here's the essay prompt that I have to write about.</p>

<p>What do you value about the College of Human Ecology perspective and the majors that interest you, as you consider your academic goals and plans for the future?</p>

<p>I'm applying undecided to CHE, so how am I supposed to write this essay if I don't have a specific major in mind? If I had to pick, I'm probably most interested in CHE's Human Development major. This essay feels like a disadvantage to someone like me who doesn't fully know what I want but still is applying.</p>

<p>I'm starting to freak out since I only have a few more days. What can I do?</p>

<p>It asks what you value about major(s) that INTEREST you. Why are you interested in Human Ecology, and why are you interested in Human Development. Are you interested in HDev because it sounds cool, or because you actually care about human development? Should be pretty easy to write about why you care about the study of humans.</p>

<p>As for “perspective”- think about how the College of Human Ecology looks at humans, and why it looks at them that way, and the benefits of that looking.</p>
