I'm pretty sure that we will run into each other sometime during the week. By the way, I'm Chelsea if we run into each other.

Thats weird.... I'm sure they will have some sort of closing ceremony so to speak... it's not just a dance, you get a certificate and some other stuff. That's weird if you don't have one. It says nothing about it in your papers?

Yeah, I already pretty much know what everybody looks like and their name due to facebook. Isn't it wonderful. :)

Hi, I'm going to Session A too. I'm kind of a late joiner but I'd like to meet up with someone. My flight gets in around 1:00 I think. Looking forward to going!

Hello arhead70! Whereabouts are you flying in from? You may have a connecting flight with one of us here.

Good for you guys! Congratulations for excelling. Good luck at the USAFA Summer Seminar. My son will be at the first session also. We are all pretty happy about it here. I just found this site tonight. Life is is pretty exciting for you all right now.

It will be fun to actually see you guys there. Facebook is nice:)

I'm flying Indy-Minneapolis-colorado. I don't have facebook :(

Cleveland->Dallas->CO

Trey - Tulsa/Dallas/Colorado Springs 12:35 pm

Buffalo->O'Hare->COS 11:22 am

The summer seminars have officially started. Trey is at WP. He had a delay at Ohare today.

So do you guys still want to plan on meeting up if we actually do have the party at the end? If so, we can probably just meet outside of Arnold as soon as we have free time and see how many people we can round up. Zachogden, if you agree, can you tell the facebook group, since you're in charge of that.

usafa21astr, that sounds like a fine idea to me. I'm sure we'll have at least a little bit of time at some point, especially around meals and if that party/dance number still exists this year.

If at all possible I'd like to come armed with a list with CC'ers names and disseminate the list to as many of us as I can find while there. Feel free to PM me if you want, though I have some of your real names already (from facebook).

Six days!

Meal times are pretty tight, dont bet on much time between there.

Actually, Z-Man, they may end up meeting each other during meals if they are in overflow for their table (like kept happening to me last year). So, keep that list handy if you can. You never know who will be in your sessions, either. Oh, and overflow is when your table exceeds it's limit of people (which will almost always happened to my "group", by the way), and the rest of your "group" has to go sit at an "overflow" table with people from other group's "overflow". Don't go to overflow everytime, but don't be afraid to go to a couple of times either. It's cool to meet new people and different Cadre. Now, I'm assuming they will do this again this year, but I could be wrong.

It's funny how once you meet some people when you first get their, it seems like you keep seeming them over and over again. I guess it's b/c you are in some ways looking for familiar faces even when you don't mean to.

AH! Yes thats true lol... I had almost forgotten, yeah I think I was the first to go to overflow from my element... so yeah I guess it is possible, however social time will be minimal

Hi! I know parents do not see any part of the beginning of Summer Seminar
but do they see any part of the end?

Like the graduation?

Or just pick the student up at the gate the same way as at the beginning.

Does anyone know if there is a dance this year?
Formal? Ties and dresses or???

THANKS!

JM2007

Wow! What a great time! I tried to meet up with as many people as possible, but between the dozen or so CC and facebookers, I only found (drum roll please) 3. The whole time you're pretty much with your element so finding people can be difficult. I was in C1C Matt "G-Nasty" Goodson's element A-8 and we had a blast. I took about 60 pictures total and will be posting a link here once they're online.

Edit: By the way, our "graduation" was a very entertaining brief by the "ruggedly handsome Chief" from the center for character development. No dance or anything, sorry to disappoint.

Thanks for the update! Sounds like FUN!

Please post more whenever you get a chance!

OK about the dance.......I guess they used to have one but maybe not anymore.
