Yeah, us prior SSers figured you'd pretty much just stay with your element. Sorry you guys didn't have the dance though (IMO you didn't miss that much).

Well, now all of ya'll have something to look forward to. Good luck!

Oh, there was a dance. Zachogden can tell you about that. :D :D

Breakdancing in front of everyone (including the admissions board, mind you) was probably not my best decision of the week. ;)

Wow, that's got to be a funny story. :)

Yeah, the breakdancing was good entertainment. Zachogden-I think we met on the hike-I was the guy who fell in the creek(haha).

Did anyone else think the Doolie for a day was really short?

Yes, it was ridiculously short in my opinion. The 20 min after wakeup and pt was not really what I was looking for. I wanted it to last the whole day, hence "Doolie for a DAY."

Yeah nice break dancing Zach. My favorite part was "Kelly"'s 4th place title for the female CFA awards

Doolie for a Day is just supposed to give you an idea of SOME of the things that you MIGHT be doing during 4-degree year. If you get in and complete Beast, you'll get to experience being a Doolie ALL of the time.

I am interested to know though, did you guys do the beatings (pushups, flutterkicks, etc) in the hall at the end? What about 8 and 10-point body-builders?

Did anyone chug a bottle of A1 steak sauce or anything like that?

Remember session A last year???

OH YEAH! That was funny. And then that girl chugged something too... :)

Falcons'11, that was what I wanted them to do, but we never had any training in the hallway.

Yeah, we did have some of that. Earlier in the week I had to eat part of a silver bullet, and then on the last day another person in our element had to chug a whole glass filled with every condiment you could find, including meat and rice. Glad that wasn't me! Someone in the element next to us chugged down the chocolate sauce out of the bottle.

"Did anyone chug a bottle of A1 steak sauce or anything like that?"

I saw a kid in another element drink some gooey black concoction, and decided to show the might of A-8 by mixing ketchup, mustard, chocolate syrup, strawberry jelly, grape jelly, milk, BBQ sauce, tabasco, lemon juice, and milk in a glass and drinking almost all of it. I now have a sinus infection because I gagged while chugging and a bunch shot up into my nose... not fun. I do have the whole incident on video though. My element was smart enough to film with their cell phones.

The best part of the story was that the kid (from element A10 or A11 I think) was only drinking chocolate syrup... I thought I had to show him up by mixing EVERYTHING together.

I'm glad you all enjoyed my breakdancing. I'll be sure to include that on my application.

yes, i would also like to add how enjoyable your dancing was =P definetly entertaining!

Zach, your dancing made my week!

Congrats to BAnglin for being top girl on CFA from session A!

Well then, congrats BAnglin. Too bad I can't remember your name when they said it, but that's pretty dang good considering you're coming to 7 thousand feet. I came close to being in the top few, but my cadre told me I was in the top six in A flight.

I'm pretty new here, but I went to Session A...In response to your question: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7928467@N07/582377543/in/set-72157600370139452/

Our cadet "made" us make condiment cocktails for each other every night (it was on a voluntary basis), and we only thought to bring cameras the last night.

And I assume it was voluntary to drink them, hence making me think you all are truly odd. Then again, I like to eat popcorn mixed with ice cream :)

well, if we made them for other people, we had to drink the one they made for us. but when one guy barfed, the cadet didn't make him finish. lol

I met that kid in the bathroom as I was cleaning the ketchup out of my sinuses. Oh, the memories.
