I wanna participate in UROP but the application wont open to freshmen until may, 1st. I gonna take my AP tests during the first two weeks of May so I dont really have enough time for UROP. Since its based on a rolling process, I wanna start right now. Do you guys know what the application process was like in the past few years? Do I have to provide: (1) resume (including high school activities and academic awards) (2) personal information (3) essays (so what is the topic)? <p>I don’t remember if I had to provide all that academic info, but the essays were really easy. It’s just questions about why you decided to do UROP, what you think you’ll gain from it, etc.</p>

<p>No, not really. UROP is not difficult to get into. Practically everyone I know who applied got in. As long as you write credible essays, you should be fine.</p>
