Cool, thanks for the link :)

Ah... I never knew that. Thanks sprezzatura :)

My dad found really funny stickers to put on textbooks making fun of the new stickers for books that teach evolution. Responding to newt's post on religion and evolution. Like one you could put on a Bible or mythology book, something like: "This books contains information on gods, a topic that many people do not yet fully understand and agree on. Therefore, this book should by read with an open mind and carefully considered." Another one: "This book contains information on the force called gravity. Gravity is something that cannot be seen, and therefore this book should be read with an open mind and carefully considered." Another one: This book proposes the theory that the earth is 4.5 billion years old. But some people believe that the earth could not possibly be that old. Therefore, this book should be read with an open mind and carefully considered." Another one: "This book contains infomation about the theory of evolution. A scientific theory is something that is not proven. This sticker hopes to confuse the reader into thinking that a scientific theory is a cockamamie theory." Another one: "This sticker is covering a sticker originally required to cover this book. For the full text of the previous sticker, please observe the books of the children of school board directors who mandated the stickering."

Oh I'm so glad my books aren't stickered, but I'm seriously considering slapping some of these ones on. I'll show them to my biology teacher in any case. We were talking about the origin of the earth and the species, and the primordial soup stuff. Some of the physics teachers joined us for that class and kept jokingly asking if that's what God did on the sixth day and so on.
