how do you deal with it? what are the ins and outs? haha im such a little freshman...

If its not ridiculously often or at ridiculous times, you just have to accept it and live with it, its a part of college life (luckily for me, my roomie has never done this to me). If it gets bad though, you just have to talk to your roomie and then your RA if that doesnt work.

lol classic...I would kill anyone who did that to me though...

how about the ol' bandanna on the door?

Unfortunately, some of the truly classic posts on my thread got deleted in the server burp when we lost a few days. :(

you both have keys (to your room) for a reason...

remember that digital camera you got for Christmas...now's the time to use it... Oh..and lastly, remember the bulletin board in the Student Union?

Complain if the room becomes an unwanted triple. Then get yourself out ASAP if she does it on regular basis.

Believe me, hook-ups are a lot less than you really think. The only reason why you hear all this talk is because... who wants to hear about what you're learning in classes? :) After all, sex and alochol sell.

ticklemepink - hahaha so true!

talk with your roommate at the beginning of the year about it... or if not specifically about "sexiling," then about having friends over and stuff. it's best to figure things out at the beginning before the chance for a problem arises!

... and don't worry about it too much!

Join in? ;)

Wow, these kind of things happen in college?
Usually in guy dorms right, I would be very scare and my parents would kill me if something like this happen. They would never let me stay on campus if my roomate is this wild!!!!

How about.. stop being a loser and do it to your roommate the next night?

Or just get a g/f and sleep at her's.

Your parents wouldn't let you stay on campus if one night your roomie asked you to leave the room for a while so they could have sex?

Dima343, what kind of question is that? does your?
You don't know what they are doing, they could bring their friends and do it on your bed and imagine you already stressing about school/grade/work etc.
Those kind of people that do that kind of things just show that they are inconsiderate and "stupid" in my opinion.
I would not feel safe being a girl and all to have seen those images do you?
Rape is started out this way- once they have something they will want more. So if you have sex in college you basically putting people in danger.
I think that this kind of activity is not worth doing!!!!!!STOP THOSE WHO THINK IT'S COOL BECAUSE IT"S NOT.
HAVE SOME SELF-respect?

You are stupid for telling that they are stupid. If you think sex is bad nasty horrible thing. Congratulations and good luck with finding hot b/f.

Guy is brining his g/f, or g/f his b/f and they are ready for sex. If they are ready for it and want it, it's not a rape.

Finally, someone brings up the obvious thing to do. Haha. Honestly though, something all CCers need to know: college is about more than just grades and studying. Live a little bit!

One of my friends does this when her roommate sexiles her: she then asks her roommate to get out of the room for a couple hours the next day, and she (if not coupled up) just listens to really loud bad 80s music and dances around and cleans up her floor, or whatever. They've got a reciprocal system: for every hour her roommate kicks her out, she gets to kick her roommate out, no matter what they're doing with the room.

I wouldn't mind being sexiled at a reasonable hour (like...not right when I'm going to bed!) a couple/few times every semester or scheduling time where each of us has the room to ourselves for a bit...but if it starts to become habitual and I'm having to sleep in other people's dorms, that's just retarded. I'm not paying 3,000 dollars to sleep on the floor, right? I would do the camcorder/internet combo...how's that for living a little :D.

my freshman year I had a single room.. but a friend of mine had a double and was sexiled on occasion (overnight).. she'd either crash on the couch in the lobby area of the building or come knocking on my door & I'd inflate a little mattress for her & she'd sleep on my floor. It didn't bother her enough to punish her roomate though.

that "eye for an eye" idea sounds pretty good. but then again my roomie could end up being an anti-social nerd whose gotten closer to having sex with trees than actual humans

^^ haha that made me laugh for a while.
i would imagine revenge would be the best treatment.

not in college yet, so take my advice w/ a grain of salt.
