<p>^I love how “The Government” is posting in a thread titled “Sexting.”</p>
<p>It’s kinda dangerous, actually. A girl in my school “sexted” a picture of herself to one person and it has now been sent to literally THOUSANDS. Like, I was at a school ten miles away for a Quiz Bowl tournament and some kid came up to me and said, “Do you go to South? Do you know that one girl who…”</p>
<p>Oh yeah, and a literal LOL at the idea of a Sexting Awareness Club! Do you have friends?</p>
<p>^ Ouch…Her life must suck at school AND at home. LOL. Why would anyone involve themself in sexting? Is there a point?</p>
<p>In general, I’m pretty sure that the pics that get spread aren’t sent to long-term boyfriends who later get mad and send them around; they’re sent to guys whom the girls may or may not be dating and whom they want to impress. That’s been the case for the two incidents at my school, at least.</p>
<p>I agree with the post that says it’s the parents fault for giving camera phones to teens. They need to wake up to the problem and take the phones away from the kids! They still make non-camera basic phones for a good reason.</p>
<p>And I do think the teens who sext should be punished as sex offenders. Because they are breaking the law by distributing and possessing child pornography.</p>
<p>Its the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. IMO the mainstream media is waaaaaaaay behind the times. I remember once when my friend showed me a topless pic of literally the HOTTEST GIRL IN SCHOOL over a year ago to me. I lol’d. </p>
<p>Best part was she didn’t even send it to him. She sent it to a friend who sent it to his friends. Hence why teenagers are stupid. “LOL IMA TAKE A PICTURE OF MY ***** AND SEND IT TO MY GIRLFRIEND” </p>

<p>And anyway, people are overreacting about this. Its just teenagers having sex. If they’re stupid enough to do it they probably wont change much in 5-10 years and will become the disease infested cocoons of their workforces. </p>
