<p>Foxcroft School senior Shannon Walker, of Purcellville, has received a Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. grant worth $10,000 a year for four years of college. </p>
<p>Walker plans to attend Princeton University next fall. The 100 Toyota Community Scholars were chosen from an original pool of 8,000 students nationwide for commitment to education and community service. Walker helped organize the first Loudoun County YouthFest in 2006.</p>

<p>Actually, a total of four class of 2011 Princetonians won the Toyota. In addition to Shannon, there is Colleen Judge, Shivani Radhakrishnan, and Jane Yang. Jane actually won the national scholarship, worth a total of $20,000 over four years. She also happens to be my little sister. :)</p>
