dhl you're gaining on me now :D

Hey Everyone,

My grades have not come out yet but I am expecting a B in Calc so I know that will bring my GPA down but how do you figure out a College GPA. Is it corrected for credits taken or something or is it just like high school? How do I figure out my cummulative GPA. From a CC im really worried.

at my CC -

for each class, you take the number of credit hours received and multiply it by your grade to get the total points earned for that class.

So, I earned an A in Accounting II, a 4 credit course:

4.0 credits X 4.0 grade = 16.0 points

You do that for each class and add up the total points, then divide by total credit hours. So I took 15 credit hours and receieved all A's and one B in Biology (4 credits):

56 points / 15 credit hours = 3.73 semester GPA.

If you do that for all of your classes, you can get your cumulative GPA.

3.93 at UCI :/

at my CC -

you go on webadvisor and click on 'transcript'
