Sharp

Could someone please describe Sharp once again. All the past post are no longer available. Has anything been remodeled? How many floors are there?

they are available if you change the time frame at the bottom of the page to go back a year

thanks much

Sharp has how many floors?

I lived in Sharp last year and def. recommend it. I would argue the best dorm to meet a lot of different people freshman year.

The floor plans say unisex bathrooms. How does that work for showers, etc?

sharp is like an “L” shape. the longer side of the “L” has 7 floors and shorter side has 4 floors. On the first 4 floors, generally the boys are in one hallway and the girls rooms are in the other and both hallways have their own bathrooms. On the last 3 floors, it is only one long hallway, so each floor is either all boys or all girls.

Thank you very much.

S2 lived in Sharp last year and really liked it. He and some of the friends he made there managed to find a way to live off campus this year.

Sharp is really fun. I lived there last year on an all guy’s floor. Sharp is definitely the best social dorm on campus and you can always find people to hang out with if you want to. The ra’s that we had were great guys and pretty cool with all of us. I’d definitely recommend Sharp.

thanks much

Is there storage space under the beds a Sharp?

Not very much. Sharp beds can’t be raised like most of the other beds in campus dormitories. The most you can fit is one of those long, very short plastic storage bins.

does Sharp have the extra long twin mattress?

I read on the website that the mattresses are 78.5 inches in Sharp which is between a standard twin and a twin xl. My son will be in Sharp and we bought twin xl sheets.
