I've been using blade all my life but figured that an electric razor like Norelco might probably be more convenient and take less time to use/clean up. I was thinking of getting an electric one for college since I mainly want to get the shaving done more quickly with less effort. I've heard some electric ones are as close as the blades, but I don't know how true that is. But then again, I heard charging them up can take forever.

Can anyone enlighten me on this issue? Has anyone switched over? How are the electric ones? I've seen some of the wet razors that actually contain some kind of lubricant that sort of act like a shaving cream. One of them was about $99, and I want to know if I should switch over to those from the blade. Of course the dry razors were cheaper. (I don't use a Mach 3. I use the older Sensor Excel, before the Mach 3 even came out.)
