Electric or Manual Razor?

Hi,
I will be in college next year. What percentage of guys would you say shave with an electric razor and what percentage use a manual? Would it be embarrassing for me to shave the first day with an electric razor?

everyone in college uses a straight razor, while dancing and singing.

Straight razors all day.

I use an electric razor, and I know that my roommate and one or two other guys on my floor do as well. Why would it be embarrassing?

Electric razors are easier, quicker, and virtually no chance of cutting myself. The only difference is I don’t get quite as close a shave as other people but I’m willing to live with that.

^ ding ding ding

Here’s the most deadly combo: cheap little disposable razor for the stache’ area (don’t even use cream). Everywhere else electric razor. Quick and easy and nice and close above your lip so ya don’t look like a dirty little 12 year old ■■■■■■ that hit puberty 4 years too early.

For years I used an electric until the blades went dull and I failed to find a replacement for them so for the last…6 months or so I’ve used a manual with that hair-raise feature. I need to replace the blade again but it still gets really close, I just need to get some more cream and really be careful when I shave my lower lip. Problem is I’ve got a cleft chin or something so it’s a ***** trying to shave it and I really have to scrub on the cream to make it comfortable enough. But the first few times around on a new blade it’s easy as you please… and it feels really GOOD with a cold blade against your skin, very little razor burn. There is the risk of cuts though, I got one on my cheek cause I drug just a bit too hard. One time I nicked my lower lip because my arm jerked a little so you gotta guard against that but… yeah, manual, or if you get electric make sure you get aftershave.

I have both. The electric for my face and the manual one for downstair.

You shave your pubic hair? And with a manual razor? Oh god.

Honestly, I don’t know a guy my age that doesn’t. No homo lol.

I trim, but it’s pretty unattractive when it’s shaved IMO, lol.

I think it looks good shaved… it sucks though if you use an electric and nip the tip while moving it around… and the razor burn sucks for about 3 days… then it’s pretty nice.

And that’s the opinion of the gay man >>.

Is everyone ignoring the obvious fact that this guy’s name is IAmNotTrolling?

It’s because my other thread (a while back, got taken down) was about masturbation and it was a serious question (which I figured wouldn’t get taken seriously).

I wondered this, too. However, this isn’t much of a ■■■■■ thread.

I prefer manual, but don’t think less of others if they have different preferences.

Just clean up after yourself.

I just made the switch to manual, and I’m a high school senior. I think its easier than using my electric razor. It is a much closer shave too.
