So as the title suggest, I’m wondering whether or not I should live in Shelton or Towers next year. I feel like i haven’t met enough people since I lived in west this year but I’m a student in SMG so all the people i met in class didn’t even live nearby me.

Does anyone know if Shelton has a strong sense of community on their floors?(When I visited all the doors were closed and I saw hardly anyone. maybe i went at a bad time) I know that Towers does but I’m not so sure if I’m on board with the idea of the community bathrooms again but I’m willing to sacrifice that if it’s more social than Shelton.

yeah… iono what to do. i’ve tried going to bunite on live journal and there are hardly any people there so i thought maybe this forum could yield more results

My friends & I are seriously considering Shelton next year. I’ve talked a little bit about it with my older friends who currently live there. They said it’s pretty quiet because everyone stays more in their suites and doesn’t need to leave for a bathroom or anything. My friends & I don’t mind that idea since we all have our own social outlets formed already. While I’d like to meet a few people on the floor, I already did the Warren thing for a year. Also, Shelton’s much tougher to get into with the housing lotto; we have a relatively great lotto number (considering we’re sophomores) which is why we think we’ll be okay.

Some of my friends this year live in Towers. It definitely seems to be social even though it’s more quiet than Warren/West. I think if you’re looking to make more friends on your floor, Towers would be the better bet.

Also, Eugene O’Neill’s room of 401 is an RA room now. So no worries about that one. ;-)

hmm i think towers might be a good think too but i’m just a little bit worried that im going to get put on a floor with a bunch of freshmann ahhh
