So I am currently a senior in high school and am considering dropping two classes and replacing them with different ones: AP Calculus BC and AP Physics with Advanced Composition (honors class) and Honors Physics. I am considering this as I had a rough first semester because of these classes and would like to enjoy my second semester. All my classes will still be honors/AP except for PE. I also got a job as a tutor and would like to devote more time to it as I want to save up some money for college. Would colleges look down on this switch and use it as a means to reject me or will they not care for it?
It would be a step down in rigor, so you would have to inform all of your colleges of this decision. It could affect admissions.
