Shipping textbooks to dorm?

Totally missed the ball on ordering by the deadline; can't pick up my textbooks at Ackerman.
My question is when I put the shipping address, do I have to put "Dykstra Hall" or will the address and room number alone suffice?
Also, being that the store is right there (haha) shipping won't take forever. Should I order my books before I move in, or would they arrive too early?

just go to the store and buy it…

when you buy stuff online you just put the street address and room number. they will hold your packages at the mail room.

@ VTE: I heard it’s hell during zero week, though. Would they run out of/run low of the books I need?

@Grass: Okay, cool! Thank you!

Just go right before the bookstore opens to get your books. or go late in the afternoon. The busiest times are in the middle of the day.

Don’t pay shipping if you’re gonna be on campus, that’s nuts.

where do you pick up the stuff shipped to the dorm?

First of all, DONT buy textbooks from Ackerman they are extremely overpriced. Do what i do. Go to bigwords.com and type in the IBSN number. To find the IBSN number go to the textbook page that has all of the textbooks that you need from the ucla textbooks website. Then click “view page source” in your browser. Then use Ctrl-F and type in the name of the book. Find the 9-13 digit number and that is the IBSN.

Second of all, definitely ship the books to your dorm. Its really not that much more expensive and it saves you a LOT of hassle. I would just buy it elsewhere and ship it to your dorm in the first place anyway. Less stuff to carry to your dorm during move-in.
