Shooting at Univ. Alabama Huntsville (merged thread folds in Parents Cafe comments)

Ya know, he got this gun 3 yrs after she shot her brother to death…

hahaha 07dad

Yep, it would have been another coincidence if the Alabama shooter had used Amy’s trusty shotgun from the first accident.

See, James isn’t crazy–he got it to protect himself from —whom?? Could it be from “I am Dr. Amy Bishop?”

STAY TUNED!!!

http://theunionleader.com/article.aspx?headline=AP%3A+Gun+used+in+Ala.+university+shooting+bought+in+NH&articleId=81936479-5e92-4427-ab28-efe8182b0ef2

Seems that maybe James forgot a few things related to the handgun. Seems like there is a lot of linkage between the 9mm and Mister Doctor Amy Bishop.

*Investigator Gray said he questioned James about the gun, but he denied purchasing it from the man and denies owning a pistol. *

Good! Now, they can get James on lying to authorities! That is a crime. James atty must be freaking out, because James has obviously been lying to him all along. His atty know that there’s no other explanation.

Famous Denials

I am not a crook
I did not take steroids
I have no recollection of that, senator
I did not have sexual relations with that woman

Certainly denial is the popular defense :)

The thing is…he could have just said, “no comment,” since his atty had asked him to keep quiet.

Who is the attorney representing James Anderson that asked him to keep quiet? I read that Amy’s attorney tried to get James to shut up, but I’m not aware that James has an attorney.

It seems clear that James really needs one to clear up the pistol issue.

Everyone around this woman needs and attorney and thier attorney is going to need duct tape.

I can’t believe this thread is still going.

The latest wrinkle is unreal. What a pair of nutcases. If they had not inflicted such enormous damage and pain on so many people they would be almost comedic.

poetgrl–The *Dressing Young *thread in Parents Cafe is going strong at over 1500 posts and has been active since August of 2009. Go figure!

Amy may have murdered people AND fashion.

Oh, my, that is uncanny! Hilarious!

The prof who got the pipe bomb should consider himself lucky. The pistol was purchased before the pipe bomb incident. I wonder if she considered using it then? Who ever called these two nutcases is correct. Crazy smart, liars, and manipulators. Insane, no way.

Seth Bishop’s death to be re-examined.

Good! It’s about time!!!

This woman and her husband are both sneaky, lying, sociopaths.

I heard that the parents are going to answer questions now…hmmmmm.

To revive an old thread:

[Amy Bishop charged with murder for 1986 shooting of her brother - Local News Updates - MetroDesk - The Boston Globe](http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2010/06/hold_hold_hold_2.html)

*Amy Bishop has been charged with murder for the 1986 shotgun slaying of her 18-year-old brother in their Braintree home, according to Norfolk District Attorney William R. Keating.

"The grand jury has indicted Amy Bishop for murder in the first degree,‘’ Keating told reporters today.“Here in Massachusetts, we had evidence of a murder. We proceeded with that, as we should have.”*

Thank goodness. I wonder if the mom has changed her story at all.

*In a separate telephone interview, Bishop’s father-in-law, Jim Anderson Sr., who lives in a suburb of Montgomery, Ala., said in a telephone interview today that he wished justice had been done back in 1986.

"We lost a talented young man, a violinist,‘’ said Anderson, referring to Seth Bishop. "If justice had prevailed when he was shot and law enforcement had handled it correctly, Amy would have been able to either get criminally charged or get help, one or the other.‘’*

Sounds like her FIL believes she’s guilty of killing her bro.

WOW. I am surprised although I think this sends the correct message.

What message is that? That it’s never too late to do something politically expedient if you have been embarrassed?

I’m not in favor of people getting away with murder, literally, but I can’t imagine how you have a fair trial of this matter 25 years after the fact. There may be no statute of limitations for murder, but there ought to be something to keep the state from taking advantage of the publicity on another case to try someone on the basis of facts that were known 25 years earlier and a decision was made – however incorrectly – not to prosecute.

Sadly I tend to agree with the cynical assessment by JHS.

I agree with JHS also. This is political expedience and that usually leads to misjustice. Has the evidence in the case changed? If not, why charge her now? Why go through the charade of a trial as there’s no certainly 12 jurors will agree on the ‘evidence’ that has been reported up to now.

^ the last three posts.

While I don’t disagree with the cynacism I have a different take on the situation … the evidence hasn’t changed since the incident occured and even worse it has aged and time has passed for witnesses … however, at the time of the incident the DA’s office never had knowledge of all the evidence when it made the initial call to not prosecute … the DA now has a lot more information/evidence then it did then. I would agree it is a political stunt if they pursue a trial when they think they don’t have a chace for prosecution (the DA had no chance way back … no idea if they have a chance now)
