<p>How does Bowdoin’s registration for classes work? I know some schools allow you to “shop” for classes and go to a bunch before actually deciding on a schedule…is this a policy at Bowdoin?</p>
<p>All students can add/drop for the first two weeks. I think freshmen have an extended (~6 weeks) drop schedule...</p>
<p>As Oliver just said you can def. sit on a bunch of classes. However, it kinda becomes harder to join a class you start going to a class like during the second week, since most classes steamroll ahead with material. But yes you can def. sit in on classes to "shop".</p>
