shopping in LA

okay, so i'm in LA and i need to get some clothes. i live in Oregon, so anything remotely cool, we don't have. So let me know. I know of Beverly Center and that's it. so let me know if you have any recommendations. thanks!

where in oregon? i'm from bend, and there's enough there to get by.

there's the westfield century city, which is accessible by taking two of the big blue buses. it's really close, just westwood blvd to a left on santa monica and down a few blocks. or there's the grove, at fairfax and 3rd. third street promenade has some stores, though their mall just closed. also there's the westside pavilion, which you can take one big blue bus (i think the 8... or 12...?). i'd say that's the closest indoor mall to UCLA.

ya 8 or 12 . . . in any case promenade has enuff to get by sortve if youre into urboutfit, amereagle, express, forever21, a&f, etc

wow, totally butchered those abbreviations.

There are stores all around UCLA.

Only thing missing is a big retailer, I think.

Anyone know what the biggest retailer nearest UCLA is? And where? (Wal-mart, Target, K-Mart)?

I know there is a Best Buy right by campus and a Circuit City pretty close by.

Hasn't the city of LA tried to stop Walmart from opening stores?

I think there's one on Crenshaw, but I don't know of any others.

Why are they stopping Walmart from opening in LA? I'm very fond of Walmart...

I don't like Wal-Mart. It smells and there are always too many people there. I much much prefer going to Target.
