Shopping?

vlonghorn, Neiman’s is at The Domain and Saks is at The Arboretum. Nordstrom is at Barton Creek Mall. The closest Macy’s and Dillard’s are at Highland Mall but are very low-end examples of those stores. Macy’s and Dillard’s like those in Dallas or Houston can be found at Barton Creek Mall.

The only shopping area with a Neiman’s and Saks in the area that I can think of is the Outlet mall in San Marcos, about 40 minutes away but pretty decent, if you can make the trip…and afford the clothing lol, or if you’re a window shopper like me well you can do that too lol

San Marcos will have outlet versions of Neiman’s and Saks but not full-scale versions.

The Domain currently has Neiman’s and Macy’s, will soon open a Dillard’s, and is supposed to have a Nordstrom and a Saks by 2011, basically becoming Austin’s one-stop location for upscale shopping.

TMT90 I chose to live in Castilian because of that internet connection problem …and also b/c of better food and cleanliness. I was deciding for a long time and I guess I finally made my decision and applied.

Another plug for Buffalo Exchange

I was talking about Ladybird lake or the Town lake. I was thinking of renting a boat every other weekend or once a month with a couple of friends and barbecue …its such a nice lake and view…after all I won’t be doing much with my pay check besides personal expenses and entertainment. The loan repayments can wait until I graduate or I might have no debt at all by the end of 2012…if u know what i mean

I am pretty sure motorboating is not allowed on Town Lake.

then it might have been another lake or river but when I entered UT address in GPS from there, it gave me an estimate of 7 miles, so that’s how far it is. & I saw a lot people with motorboats and few with jet skis and speed boats

Yeah then you aren’t talking about town lake…thats only 20 blocks or so away…
