short answer critiques!

would anybody be willing to look over several of my short answer essays (common app, BU and tufts for now) and give me feedback?? im still working on them and im not sure if im approaching it in the right way/if it's too boring etc. the deadline is january 1st (im such an awesome procrastinator) and i want to make sure everything is ok before i click send.

also, im planning on sending in a CD of the instrument i play. would it sound bad if i wrote for my common app short answer that the CD is not as important an achievement as everything i learned from playing my instrument for 9+ years?

thanks in advance!

anyone? another question: for those who have italics/bolds in their common app essays and are submitting it online, how did you emphasize those words (since you cant submit italics/bold etc)?

I better not read them since I'm not much of a critic. I will, however, answer your second question: I read that there isn't any way to emphasize words on your essay, though all Common App universities realize this, and don't hold it against you.

Well, that's what their FAQ claims, anyway... but I guess they would say that.
