I can't decide what to write about for the "intellectually exciting idea or experience" short essay #2, but I've written all the rest. I was wondering what some other people are writing about, so if anyone wanted to help out and just give me an idea of what they're looking for, I would appreciate it. Don't worry, I won't copy anyone's ideas or anything :)

I'm having the same problem! I had all my other essays written over a month ago, but this one has been giving me so much trouble. I still don't know what to write about. Is this supposed to be concrete and specific or more abstract and philosophical? Bleh I don't know what to do.

I have questions about this too! Does it have to be related to your intended major (i'm doing engineering) or can I just talk about philosophical stuff?

I s'pose I'll write about an idea that I find "stimulating." Should be oodles of glorious fun.

Actually, there is something...yes, I can write about that.

paulhomework,
you can talk about anything you want, just make it interesting.

I think I am going to write about a Physics report I read on their site. It was the most interested in science I have ever been and since I plan on majoring in Physics I think it would be appropriate. Do you agree, or does this topic sound like it wouldn't work?

anyone have any ideas? I have a few ideas that might make OK essays, but I don't know if they really apply very well to the question. i know that I want the subject to be science/math oriented. I was thinking about talking about going to a doctor and then wanting to research the stuff that she talked about. another idea is a math team that I was on in 8th grade and all the competitions we went to and stuff...or should I try to research some scientific topic online that I am already interested in and know a little about it, and just write what i think about that?

i wrote about some of the more interesting problems that have to do with my independent research (also my area of major)
