<p>I think sometimes when you're filling out an application you think you're doing it for the college that your applying to. That's not really true, though. You need to follow the guidelines of the application, but really you're filling out the application for yourself. You want to present yourself as of favorable of an applicant as you possibly, truthfully can. That said, do whatever you think gives you the most ammunition as an applicant in terms of your complete application. Basically...interpret the guidelines of the application to work for you as best they can.</p>
<p>Elaborate on how it affected you. Note the diff between. I work at Starbucks 12 hours a week. I make 15 diff kinds of lattes for the various customers. VS Working at Starbucks has opened my eyes to the myriad of humanity as I serve lattes to a steady stream of city dwellers every morning. I make a game of mentally guessing where they are off to with their Starbucks in hand - the office, the gym, school, the studio....Some of my regulars even have nicknames...</p>
