<p>A mistaken report? How odd. </p>

<p>Was it just something that sounded like gunshots, so 911 was called?</p>

<p>*Missouri S&T police spokesman Andrew Careaga told The Associated Press that a man carrying a gun was seen entering McNutt Hall on the Rolla campus Thursday morning and later seen leaving the building. </p>

<p>I have friends on this campus and others with children there. Much chatter on FB with them.</p>

<p>No shots fired; someone did enter one of the buildings with a gun. (Offices of Mining and Nuclear Engineering.)</p>
