Should i accept my offer now, or wait?

<p>I want to go to mCgill for Commerce, but my parents are waiting for Schulich (York) to reply. I dont think that i will get accpeted into Schulich, but my parents insist that i should wait.</p>

<p>The only benefits that i know of accepting the offer early is that u can get ur first choice of residence, but u have to accpete the offer and pay a $300 deposit. </p>

<p>Even if i accept the offer now, can i still cancel it later if SChulich accept me later?</p>

<p>i would just wait, you never know if your second choice school offers you a $20,000 scholarship, you change your mind, etc.</p>

how do you know that you have a chance of getting scholarships? do u submit a scholarship form or something?
