Should I add this as an ec/work experience?

<p>I know most people say that you shouldn't include an ec or work experience if you didn't do it for a long time, but I'm not sure if that applies to my job of three months. </p>

<p>I volunteered at an animal shelter for a year before being hired at the front desk, then worked there for three months before being let go due to budget cuts. I was the youngest to ever have worked there. </p>

<p>So should I still add it because I was hired after volunteering, or leave it out because the actual job was only three months long?</p>

<p>Sure, I would add that as job experience because it compliments your work as a volunteer, which I assume is also listed.</p>
